Lead Design Engineer – R&D
At Fiskars Group, we are unified and driven by our common purpose: pioneering design to make the everyday extraordinary. This role is based either in Espoo or Billnäs factory, Finland, and reports to our Senior Manager, R&D. The position is full‑time, hybrid.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee design and engineering projects for Fiskars product range, from concept to production.
- Use conceptual design and 3D CAD modelling to create products that meet project objectives within performance and cost constraints.
- Perform design validation testing on prototypes and off‑tool samples and make necessary design modifications to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
- Develop documentation to define product performance requirements and acceptance criteria to ensure product quality.
