Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY: With limited supervision from a Supervisor or Manager, the Lead Compactor Shop Technician understands the processes required for troubleshooting, design, installation and repairing all compactors and power units. This position works directly with the other technicians in scheduling assignments and functioning as the first line subject matter expert. This position coaches all technicians to perform advanced level tasks of compliance with the Company’s safety procedures and requirements
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Maintain advanced knowledge of all types of compactors, hydraulic and electrical systems.
+ Makes customer site visits to ensure we are exceeding customer expectations with regard to repairs and to assist the Sales team in presales activities.
