Seeking an experienced Lead CNC Operator to oversee 2nd shift operations and support a team of machinists in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role combines hands-on CNC setup and operation with leadership responsibilities, including troubleshooting, training, and maintaining production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a small team of CNC operators during shift
- Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes using conversational programming
- Identify and resolve machining issues, including program adjustments
- Ensure part quality through first article inspections and in-process checks
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
