Our client, an industry leader, is seeking an energetic, dedicated and hardworking Law Clerk to fill the role of Real Estate Law Clerk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial and residential purchase, sale and financing transactions, including drafting documentation and corresponding directly with clients and other lawyers offices
- Performing sub-searches of title and off-title searches
- Assisting with registration of plans of subdivision and other land development matters
- Assisting with commercial leasing transactions
- Preparing various documents in Teraview including Transfers, Charges, Easements, Notices, Discharges etc.
- Preparing reporting letters and accounts to clients
- Organizing and maintaining physical and electronic files
- Opening files in PCLaw
- Drafting and amending all correspondence
