We now seek an additional Laundry Assistant who is passionate about, and thrives on, making a real and positive difference to the lives of older people. You will work in collaboration with the Housekeeper and the wider domestic team to ensure the smooth, efficient running of all laundry processes in the home.
Responsibilities
- Handle all laundry items for laundering with care and attention.
- Perform minor repairs to residents’ personal items of clothing where appropriate.
- Assess residents’ laundry requirements and provide dedicated, individualised attention as needed.
- Maintain a clean and tidy laundry room and ensure equipment is clean and well maintained.
