Lathe/Mill (Setup) Operator

Full Time positions for Lathe/Mill Setup Operators Functions:

• Oversee and coordinate machining operations and activities.


• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion.
• Load and unload equipment and materials.
• Be able to setup/operate CNC FANUC control.
• Precise setting of all tool offsets.
• Must have mathematical skills for calculating set-up requirements, including basic math, geometry and trigonometry.  Set up and operate machines with little supervision.
• Able to read and understand Engineering drawings/blueprints.
• Able to plan machining process, study work orders, drawings, materials, specifications, and machine capabilities.
• Interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) and read drawings.
• Must be familiar with G-Code machine language.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on machines.
