Job Overview

Responsible for overall management and operation of landfill facilities, ensuring safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant waste disposal activities. Oversees daily site operations, personnel, contractors, equipment, and budgets while ensuring compliance with environmental legislation, health and safety regulations, and company standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role; ideally within landfill environment with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
• In-depth knowledge of the NEM: Waste Act, waste classification and management regulations, and landfill permitting requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Sage .
• Knowledge of an IMS system (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
