Our Telecommunications group is currently looking to add Labourer (s) to our growing team, based in Castor, AB.
Reporting to the Foreman or Lead Hand, we are seeking experienced construction Labourers to help on underground FTTP and utility installations across Alberta. This position requires the ability to work long hours working outdoors, working as a cohesive group.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lay power cable, telecom pipe, gas pipe in trenches up to deepSet telecom peds, precast bases, sanding trench, moving materialAbility to lift 50lbsOperate jumping-jacks, and other handheld or portable equipmentOperate skidsteer and backhoe at times safely onsiteRead and understand construction drawings for specific tasks givenComplete time sheets, vehicle pre-trip inspections and other paperwork as assignedPerform all other duties as assigned by supervisorsRequirements
