Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in unloading trucks and gathering necessary tools and equipment for the day’s work.Transport rakes, lutes, shovels, and spray cans to the designated work area.Measure and mark out the designated area of iron.Occasionally act as a flagger to direct motorists away from the work zone, ensuring safety and traffic control.Perform shoveling tasks, including the movement and distribution of materials.Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and equipment, ensuring they are properly stored at the end of the day.Lifting of sections of 50+ pounds.Clean up the work site by removing any debris or rubbish generated during the iron adjustment process.Tamp and compact asphalt to ensure proper adhesion and stability.
