Laboratory Assistant, Clinical Chemistry

You will be required to sort specimens sent to the laboratory, key the test orders into the computer system, answer phone calls pertaining to laboratory enquiries as well as attend to walk‑in patients/visitors. Other duties may include drawing blood from mostly paediatric patients (finger‑prick technique; training will be provided).

Other information: The role requires working Sundays and Public Holidays (based on roster). Prior job experience in a similar setting and familiarity with laboratory terminology would be an advantage.

• GCE N / O Level, NITEC in Biomedical Science / Nursing
• Equipped with phlebotomy skills advantageous
• Minimum typing speed of 35 wpm
• Prior job experience in a similar setting and familiarity with terminology used in the Laboratory would be an advantage
