Overview
Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the Laboratory and Simulation Manager will develop a simulation program for the nursing department, will coordinate and incorporate evolving curriculum changes into the instructional labs, assist with proposals for grants and orient faculty to equipment used during instructional labs, and manage the overall laboratory operations.
Responsibilities
+ Develops comprehensive simulation program for implementation across the nursing curriculum
+ Oversees and provides mentorship for all instructors teaching in the laboratory setting
+ Leads the simulation lab in design, development, implementation, and evaluation of new courses, scenarios, simulation tools, research studies, and other educational initiatives to measure learning outcomes using simulation and clinical education best practices
