Laboratory / Analytical Chemist

Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree or National Diploma in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field. Experience: Minimum of 35 years laboratory experience in mining Process. Experience working with analytical instruments and laboratory information systems. Experience in a mineral mining environment is advantageous Key responsibilities: * Sample Collection and Analysis * Lab Operations Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of chemical analysis techniques and laboratory best practices. Proficiency in operating analytical equipment such as: Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) is optional Wet analysis, pH Conductivity, Turbidity. UV-Visible Spectrophotometry X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) Strong understanding of laboratory safety protocols. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
