Job Description
Job Summary: Assist DVM and other hospital staff by providing direct care and maintenance of kennel, hospital and surroundings, feeding and general husbandry of boarding pets.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
+ Must treat animals with care and respect
+ Must enjoy keeping pets and environment clean
+ Must be able to communicate with clients and hospital staff
Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
+ Dependable attendance
+ Any allergies to animals must be controlled through medication
+ Must be able to fit 40 pounds
+ Must be willing to work long or irregular hours under pressure conditions
+ Must be able to maintain accurate written and digital records
