Junior Structural Engineer - Burnaby

About the opportunity

We are recruiting a Marine Structural Engineer to support the planning, design, and delivery of port, coastal, and marine infrastructure projects. The role is based in our Burnaby office with flexibility for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and development of marine and port structures, including wharves, jetties, piers, and coastal protection works.
• Support senior engineers through all project phases — concept, preliminary, and detailed design.
• Prepare technical deliverables such as drawings, design calculations, reports, and specifications.
• Participate in site inspections, condition assessments, and construction support activities.
• Collaborate with engineers, drafters, and other disciplines to deliver coordinated project outputs.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders under the guidance of senior staff.
