Job Description
Evaluate samples of new products against company quality policy & international standards and accept or reject product samples. Where samples are rejected, work closely with suppliers and negotiate possible solutions. Ensure that products launched onto the market are safe for use, are brand-fit, and of the required quality. Review inspection reports and liaise with Inspection Agents to ensure that batch orders meet AQL requirements. Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions where necessary. Interface with suppliers to resolve quality issues and verify corrective actions. Support continuous quality improvement initiatives. Ensure products comply with ISO, SANS and IEC requirements. Supervise grading, reworks and inspection activities. Assist customer service and technical teams with product-related investigations. Perform forensic technical analysis of customer complaints on products.
