We’re seeking a proactive, Junior Estimator to join the Purchasing Team. This role involves supporting sales through accurate job estimating, you’ll report directly to the UK Purchasing Manager and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of parts across the supply chain. Roles and responsibilities
* Analyse drawings, specifications, and related documents to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates
* Raise purchase orders and manage delivery schedules to meet production plans
* Work closely with project managers, sales department, engineers to gather all necessary information for informed estimating
* Support negotiations to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms
* Monitor material availability and proactively address shortages or delays
