Junior Design Engineer

Draughting: producing CAD drawings for parts and assemblies, reviewing draughting output, managing PLM models, and keeping Bills of Material current. Design: developing concepts for product improvement, reverse engineering, and preparing CAD models for simulation, including weld and chamfer work. Simulation: running FEA, DEM, and MBD simulations, interpreting results, and validating models through scale or field testing. Scanning: reverse engineering components using traditional measurement and laser scanning (FARO Focus3D), including point-cloud processing this involves local and occasional international mine site visits. Sales support: joining site visits as a technical advisor, and helping build presentations and marketing material, including simulation videos. General: contributing to ISO-aligned process improvement, supporting commissioning and troubleshooting, preparing technical reports, and managing your own project workload.
