Junior Commodity Trader
Location: Sandton Salary: Market Related
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and commercially minded Junior Commodity Trader to join their growing commodities team. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with experience in commodity markets who is looking to develop their career while working alongside an experienced Senior Trader in the energy and mineral commodities sector.
The successful candidate will provide commercial, operational and analytical support across the full trading cycle, assisting with trade execution, market intelligence, reporting, financial analysis and customer relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Senior Trader with the purchase and sale of energy and mineral commodities, including coal and manganese.
Monitor commodity markets, pricing, freight movements and industry developments, preparing accurate daily market reports.
