Junior Accountant Opportunity at S&R Group

S&R Group is seeking a Junior Accountant to enhance financial operations at our Head Office. Contribute to accounts payable processes and financial reporting while supporting community initiatives.
In this role, reporting to the Controller, you’ll leverage your 3-5 years of accounting experience to aid in financial management tasks. With expertise in reconciliation, vendor management, and trend analysis, you will ensure our Long Term Care homes operate efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review add-hoc accounts payable invoices and expense reports
• Support intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Prepare timely month-end accounts payable accruals
• Lead necessary reporting for the Ministry of Health
• Maintain reporting tools in Yardi and conduct reconciliations
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of accounting experience in corporations
• Undergraduate certification or diploma in accounting
