Join Lake Shore Gold as a Jumbo Operator at Timmins West Mine in Timmins, ON. Engage in full-time development mining with competitive pay and robust benefits.
This full-time position requires skilled Development Miners proficient in jumbo operations and leadership. Candidates will lead a 2-man crew, maintain safety protocols, and operate jacklegs and stoppers. You will also assist with mucking, drilling preparations, and service installations during shifts set on a 5-5-4 schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead crew in development heading tasks
• Ensure hanging wall and foot wall control
• Operate jumbo drills and assist in loading trucks
• Prepare mining face and install development services
• Follow safety policies during all operations
Requirements:
• 5-10 years of relevant mining experience
• Proven jumbo operation and specialty core skills
• Commitment to workplace safety
• Basic UG Hard Rock Common Core modules
