Job Description
We have an immediate opportunity in Louisville, KY for a Mechanical Engineer to design custom replacement parts for rotary dryers, kilns, grinder mills, and other rotating machinery. This hands-on role includes both in-office design work and 25% travel to client sites for equipment evaluation.
Key Details:Use Inventor or SolidWorks to produce steel part layouts and assembly drawings Strong math, Excel, and report writing skills required Experience in machine design, statics/dynamics, or heat transfer is highly preferred
Pay: $26–$28/hr (Direct: $50K–$58K)
Location: Louisville, KY
Schedule: M–F, flexible 8–5 core hours
Travel: 25% to client sites
