As of January 1, 2025, MAHLE combined its former business units Engine Systems and Components and Electronics and Mechatronics into the new business unit Powertrain and Charging.
In doing so, MAHLE will strengthen its strategic electrification segment, enabling focus areas such as efficient electric motors and intelligent charging to benefit from the company's more than 100 years of experience in engine systems and components.
The development of piston systems and cylinder components has been a core competency at MAHLE.
