Jr. Fourth Engineer

We are looking for 2 Jr. Fourth Engineers to join our growing fleet

Qualification:

• At least 1 year experience as Jr. Fourth Engineer (or equivalent) on international trade.

Job Description:

Main Duties

• Familiarize with the duties and responsibilities of an Engineer in Charge of Engine Watchkeeping by observing the applicable instructions when the vessel is at sea or in port.
• May participate in Engine Watchkeeping after three months of service onboard, provided the Chief Engineer finds him/her capable.

MARPOL

• Participate in the operation and maintenance of the Sewage Treatment Plant.
• Participate in the operation and maintenance of Lub. Oil and F.O. Purifiers.
• Participate in bunkering and sounding of tanks.

Safety and Security

• Participate in the weekly test of lifesaving appliances such as lifeboat motors, emergency fire pumps, emergency gene...
