Journeyman Welder

InterPro Pipe & Steel Inc. seeks a Journeyman Welder in Regina to contribute to the production of high‑quality steel products. The role requires extensive welding, brazing, and metal fabrication skills, with an emphasis on safety and precision.

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions, prints and work orders for jobs.
• Analyze drawings, sketches, plans and details of working procedures, tools and material requirements.
• Select materials in accordance with suitability for the job.
• Lay out work, prepare sketches and determine stock sizes.
• Set up, assemble and tack weld parts, constructing special fixtures.
• Perform gas and electric welding in all positions (down‑hand vertical, overhead, etc.).
• Make any type and size weld, such as V‑lap, butt, etc., including preheating parts.
• Build up worn or defective surfaces.
• Clean, grind and flame anneal parts and welded joints.
