Job Description
Utilize your expertise as a Journeyman Tilesetter in a dynamic setting. This physically demanding role focuses on tile installation in various commercial and industrial locations.
With a minimum of five years of experience, you will prepare surfaces and apply adhesives while managing multiple projects. Your skills in cutting, fitting, and aligning tiles will be vital, as will your ability to instruct apprentices and supervise other workers on-site. This position requires on-site work; remote flexibility is not available.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces for tiling
• Mix and apply mortar and adhesives using hand tools
• Lay and set tiles, ensuring alignment and adherence
• Cut and fit tiles around obstacles using power tools
• Supervise apprentices and fellow workers in the field
Requirements:
• At least 5 years of tilesetting experience
• Tilesetter Trade Certification required
• Valid driver's license and own transportation
