Job Description
CEDA is seeking skilled Journeyman Pipefitters for temporary camp work in Conklin, Alberta. This pivotal role offers competitive pay and camp accommodations on 12-hour shifts.
As a Journeyman Pipefitter, you will perform essential mechanical installations and collaborate with various trades. Your duties will include fitting and preparing welded piping, interpreting blueprints, and testing systems for leaks. Commitment to safety and efficient work processes are paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install mechanical equipment like pumps and compressors
• Fit up and prepare piping with welded joints
• Collaborate with trades and consultants
• Clean condensate traps and equipment strainers
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications
Requirements:
• Journeyman Pipefitter/Steamfitter or registered apprentice
• H2S Alive, CSO or CSTS, First Aid required
• Ability to adapt to changes in work conditions
