Job Cost Accountant
What we are looking for:
Aldridge is seeking a Job Cost Accountant to ensure the integrity of our financial data by managing the full life cycle of cost codes, setting up new projects, and maintaining accurate budget and changing order records in the accounting system.
What you’ll do:
Cost Code Controls & Data Integrity
+ Manage Cost Codes: Open, maintain, and close specific cost codes across active projects to ensure accurate tracking of labor, materials, and equipment.
+ Facilitate Charge Transfers: Review and process transfers of incorrect charges (journal entries) to ensure costs are hitting the right codes and projects.
+ Audit Support: Monitor cost distributions and flagging variances or misallocated expenses for project management review.
Project Set-Up & Maintenance
+ System Initiation: Set up new projects in the company’s ERP system based on contract awards, ensuring alig...
