Janitor

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in offices, hallways, restrooms, and other areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and mirrors, ensuring they are well-stocked with supplies.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas and replace garbage bags.
• Dust and clean surfaces such as desks, shelves, windows, and vents.
• Wash windows, glass doors, and mirrors as needed.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and notify management of inventory needs.
• Maintain outdoor areas, such as sidewalks, entrances, or parking lots, by sweeping, shoveling snow, or removing debris.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and buffers.
• Perform periodic deep cleaning tasks, such as waxing floors or cleaning carpets.
