Job Description
School District 8 – Kootenay Lake is hiring an Itinerant Teacher for the Blind or Visually Impaired dedicated to providing critical educational services and promoting student inclusion throughout the district. This 0.20 FTE term role requires travel under diverse conditions.
In this position, you will report to the Assistant Superintendent as a part of the Inclusive Education Team, supporting students with visual impairments across various schools. Engage in meaningful collaboration with educators and community organizations to implement effective teaching practices. Your leadership will shape inclusivity for learners needing specialized support.
