IT Technician (holding the functional title of Assistant e-Learning Officer) in the Information Technology Services (ITS) (Ref.: 536785)

The Role

The appointee will provide user support and assistance to staff and students in utilizing the University’s e-Learning platforms (i.e. Moodle and Panopto) and tools. He/She will be responsible for:
Assisting in the design and facilitation of workshops on the Learning Management System (LMS);

Delivering effective help-desk services, especially in relation to e-Learning solutions, such as the LMS, video streaming, lecture capture systems, etc.;

Producing management reports on the LMS; and

Preparing self-learning materials, including user guides and video tutorials, on the use of the LMS and other e-Learning tools.
Qualifications and Qualities
A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Technology or a related discipline;
