Job Description
IT managers are responsible for planning, and leading computer‑related activities within the organization. This position determines the IT needs of the organization and oversees the implementation of computer systems to fulfill the organization’s information systems requirements.
The hours of work will range from 40 to 50 hours per week, (9 am–5 pm) depending on varying contracts and timelines—overtime, weekends, and/or evenings are typically not required.
Responsibilities
- Lead IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems, hardware, and services.
- Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure.
