Responsibilities
- Efficiently manages day-to-day transportation and forwarding providers
- International freights support for Group Entities
- Builds working relations with shippers, trucking companies, railroads, airlines, and freight forwarders
- Oversees cost control and KPI’s performance, actively seeking to improve efficiency, reduce operating costs
- Prepares status reports and other documentation as appropriate
- Maintains a working knowledge of legislative requirements and best practices relevant to the transport industry, in a worldwide perimeter, with special focus on Loss & Damages and Customs procedures
- Works closely with other key stakeholder to ensure all transport solutions are fully integrated and designed to improve
- Consistently promotes and adheres to Company policy, procedures, and legislation
