Job Description
OVERVIEW
Performs a variety of technical procedures in CT and radiography that will require a certain amount of independent judgment. May be involved in some teaching of students in the practical aspect of Radiography and CT.
EDUCATION
- Satisfactory completion of formal radiography training in an approved Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists ( training school or equivalent
- Registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario(
- Advanced knowledge/education in anatomy and physiology, including cross-sectional anatomy preferred
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2 years CT Technologist experience in the last three years preferred
- Minimum 2 years helical multi-slice CT scan experience Preferred
- Interventional Radiology and CT procedure experience strongly preferred.
