Responsibilities Guide and manage the overall provision of IR services for the region Develop an overall IR strategy with measurable objectives for the region Manage the staffing requirements of the IR department to effectively serve the needs of the region Ensure compliance in respect of all matters related to IR and/or labour including but not limited to the following legislation; LRA, BCEA, EEA, SDA, OHSA and Employment Services Act Provide training to managers and employees on all IR and /or labour related matters including chairing and representing in disciplinary inquiries, dealing with the absconding procedure, drafting charges etc. Effectively manage the IR Officer/s and IR Administrator Ensure all internal IR and/or labour related matters, including disciplinary inquiries poor work performance, incapacity, retrenchments, grievances, strikes, CCMA and bargaining council matters are recorded and kept Ensuring that all IR related Policies and Procedures are up to date and complia...
