International Therapeutic Area Head (iTAH)

Overview

The International Therapeutic Area Head (iTAH) is a senior medical leadership role established to provide overarching TA strategic leadership for International Markets, partnering with Global Medical TA leadership and regional medical leads to deliver on regional mandates in Europe, APAC and INTERCON.

Responsibilities

• TA Strategy & Scientific Leadership: Own international markets medical strategy across the full asset lifecycle—from early pipeline shaping (ID2–ID4) through pre-launch, launch and lifecycle optimization. Translate global TA strategy into clear direction for Regional Medical Leads (RMLs) and Regional Medical Engagement Leads (rMELs) across regions; lead evidence generation strategy including real-world evidence (RWE).
