Role Overview
Become a part of the dynamic General Internal Medicine team at Shuswap Lake Hospital. The Internal Medicine group consists of five dedicated professionals in a community and GP‑run hospital that hosts a full time Emergency Department, General Surgery, Obstetrics, and Anesthesia.
The successful candidate will share inpatient call with the group and provide outpatient consultations in a private office on their own schedule. Opportunities exist to do outreach clinics in other regional facilities, supported by provincial funding through NITAOP and the RSLP.
In addition to an outpatient consultative service, the role includes critical care responsibilities such as central line insertion, transvenous pacemaker placement, non‑invasive ventilation, and stabilization of critical care patients.
