WSP has a new opportunity for an Intermediate Geotechnical Construction Materials Field Technician based out of our Markham (Steelcase office) location.

This role offers the opportunity to further develop technical expertise while working alongside technicians, engineers, and professionals within a leading global consulting firm.

Your Impact

• Deliver technical services in both field and office environments to support geotechnical and construction materials projects.
• Perform QC and QA testing on soils, concrete, aggregate, and asphalt.
• Conduct soil and asphalt compaction testing to confirm compliance with specifications.
• Carry out subgrade, footing, and construction site inspections and observations.
• Lead and support subsurface investigations including layout, supervising drill rigs and excavators, logging boreholes and test pits, sampling soil and groundwater, and preparing detailed site sketches....
