Become a part of OECTA at St. Francis Xavier Catholic High School in Hammond as an Intermediate (Grade 7/8) FSL Teacher. This permanent position starts on September 1, 2026, for a full-time role.
We're looking for an enthusiastic educator holding an Ontario College of Teachers Certificate with qualifications in specialized subjects as mandated by the Ministry. This role focuses on French as a Second Language (FSL) for grade 7 and 8 students, fostering their language skills and cultural understanding while promoting an inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach FSL curriculum to Intermediate grades 7/8
• Develop engaging lesson plans and activities
• Assess and report on student progress
• Collaborate with staff on curriculum development
