Intermediate Civil Engineer

The Opportunity

McElhanney has a unique opportunity for an Intermediate Civil Engineer to join our team in Salmon Arm, BC, with additional support for our Vernon and Kelowna branches. In this role, you will work second in command to the senior engineer, leading diverse civil projects and providing detailed design support in the production of engineering designs, drawings, and specifications. You will also assist in the pursuit, project management, proposal, and delivery of local and regional projects, working closely with our Division Manager and operational teams.

What You’ll Do

• Provide detailed production of engineering assessments, designs, drawings, and specifications for municipal and private land development civil projects.
• Design opportunities include water and wastewater infrastructure, transportation, retaining structures, erosion protection, grading and drainage design, and site servicing.
