Intermediate Care Technician

Summary The full performance, Intermediate Care Technician (ICT) generalist is assigned to the Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration. The duty location will be in Garner, NC (Urgent Care) and Durham, NC. This position serves as an advance technician for outpatient care settings such as primary care, mental health, urgent care, and specialty clinics. As an ICT generalist you may serve in a medical center, community-based outpatient clinic or mobile medical unit. Responsibilities Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Performing ongoing patient care duties in a critical care setting under the delegated authority of the supervising physician, licensed independent provider (LIP), and/or advanced practice provider (APP) assigned.
