Summary About the Position: This position is located in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Advanced leave accrual may be authorized. Advanced in-hire may be authorized. Responsibilities Conduct complex chemical analyses of environmental and occupational health samples to determine chemical compositions and identify toxic constituents in support of health and environmental hazard assessments. Operate sophisticated radiochemistry and spectrometry instruments to identify and measure highly specific chemical compounds and radiochemical isotopes. Evaluate laboratory quality control data and analytical results to identify discrepancies and ensure all reported data is scientifically defensible and compliant with standard laboratory protocols.
