Instrumentation Mechanician

Key Responsibilities Program, modify, and optimise PLC-controlled machinery and production equipment Commission, configure, and test instrumentation and automated control systems Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VSDs, motors, sensors, and field instrumentation Support automation upgrades, system integrations, and new equipment installations Calibrate and configure instrumentation to ensure accurate process control Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve machine performance, efficiency, and reliability Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to optimise production processes Develop and maintain PLC backups, technical documentation, and system records Ensure all automation systems comply with quality, safety, and operational standards Skills & Experience Minimum 35 years' experience in instrumentation, automation, and PLC programming within a manufacturing or process environment Strong experience programming and troubleshooting Siemens PLCs Experience with SCADA, HMI...
