An exciting opportunity exists to join a dynamic leadership team and grow your skills working within a collaborative team environment at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre.Unit 26 is a 10 bed in pediatric unit providing excellent and family centered care supporting the critical care needs of our patients. As a Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) on Unit 26 you will be responsible for delivery of educational programs in collaboration with management and other nursing leaders. The CNE provides leadership in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of educational activities for healthcare staff including orientation, compulsory educational programs, clinical development and continuing education. The education program is based on identified needs and requirements which may include legislation, regulatory standards, continued competencies, quality improvement initiatives, strategic plans/ objectives, and organizational priorities.
