About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Buyer to join an industrial team. You will play a key role in analysing stakeholder needs, procuring materials and services, managing vendors, ensuring quality, and keeping stock levels optimal. You will also ensure compliance with procurement procedures and maintain clear reporting for senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Planning: Forecast needs to ensure timely procurement.
Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and select vendors based on capability, quality, reliability, and price. Negotiate contracts for tactical spends below $50K USD; collaborate with Regional Procurement Manager for higher spends.
Order Management: Place orders, track deliveries, and resolve procurement issues.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all procured items meet standards and specifications.
