Independent Learning Centre (Library) Manager - Culcheth High School

The role

Culcheth High School are looking to appoint an Independent Learning Centre Manager with excellent knowledge of literature and a passion for books, to join our highly successful school in North Cheshire. Duties are outlined within the recruitment pack and include:

• Planning and delivering ILC Year 7 induction lessons and refreshers for other year groups
• Dealing with student enquiries and providing information as required
• Maintaining the computerised library system
• Supervising students at break and lunchtimes and maintaining appropriate standards of behaviour
• Promoting a reading culture throughout the school
• Support for student intervention programs and literacy initiatives within the ILC
• Ensuring resources are up to date, staying informed of new releases and ensuring books are relevant to curriculum developments
