The In-House Counsel will:
Analyze claims and litigation in order to formulate early case assessment and resolution strategy Prepare risk assessment and case updates for presentation to manager for settlement authority or other necessary approvals Draft and revise legal papers, including pleadings, declarations, discovery demands, and responses Handle or assist with court proceedings (including Federal and State court appearances), arbitrations, mediations, and depositions Supervise e-discovery process, directly managed by Paralegals Manage litigation budgets and associated reporting requirements Provide advice to business leaders with an objective of minimizing potential future liability exposure Assist with development of company-wide compliance programs, including assisting with policy drafting and creation of training modules Review wa...
