Import Operator - Fixed Term - Lichfield

Position: ROAD & RAIL IMPORT OPERATOR – FIXED TERM

Location: Lichfield

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, 08.30am – 17.00pm Monday to Friday (Fixed Term Contract)

About the position:

The purpose of the Road & Rail Import Operator is to manage the inbound day to day groupage routes and adhere to various Network duties as outlined below.

Whilst the Operator will have a responsibility for Imports they will also be required to provide cover in other areas of the department when required.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities will include:

• Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Liaising with our European Partners and Customers to find resolutions to any arising challenges within agreed SLA’s.
• Ensuring the accurate entry of data into the operational system such as processing of EDI’s, unload reports etc....
