Import Analyst

**Essential Job Functions**:
- Receive, review, and process import documentation for an assigned base of accounts;
- Obtain and process Customs release and other government agency releases as appropriate, arranging delivery, and invoicing the import accounts to their SOP;
- Monitor transactions and notify supervisory personnel of any problem or irregularities;
- Provide excellent and timely client service by informing the client of the status of their shipment(s);
- Coordinate the release of goods from the carrier, customs or other governmental agency examinations that may be required.
**Other Skills & Abilities**:
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
- Must have excellent client service skills, responding promptly and professionally to client needs and requests for service and assistance;
- Ability to read and interpret documents;
- Must be detail oriented with good organizational skills;
