Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Identify and follow safety guidelines to protect self, coworkers, plant equipment, and the public.Apply federal, state, company, and environmental regulations to all work activities.Install, calibrate, test, troubleshoot, and maintain protective relays, computers, metering, monitoring, and control systems for boilers, turbines, generators, and auxiliary equipment.Perform bench work and component troubleshooting in a shop environment, as needed.Read and interpret P&IDs, control wiring diagrams (CWDs), instruction manuals, blueprints, and control system drawings to locate, diagnose, and repair plant systems and interlocks.Use test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, electronic bridges, loop calibrators) and hand tools to troubleshoot and maintain plant devices and systems.Work with apprentice and skill‑enhancement employees to demonstrate safe work prac...
