Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Lead hydrotechnical design from concept through construction.
- Complete hydrotechnical hazard assessments and provide risk‑based recommendations.
- Prepare clear, well‑structured technical reports, specifications, and design briefs.
- Develop and apply hydraulic and hydrologic models to support design.
- Manage projects, including scope, schedule, budget, and delivery.
- Review and approve designs and technical deliverables.
- Work in the field (up to 30% of the time), including site reconnaissance, data collection, and construction support.
- Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams to deliver practical solutions.
- Engage with clients and regulators to support approvals and resolve technical issues.
- Support proposals and business development.
- Mentor junior staff through review, guidance, and example.
- Keep safety central to planning, design, and field work.
